Q68Seine Projekte reichen da von einem Chemieexperiment über eine elektronische Waage bis zu einem computergestützten System zur Messung von Flüssigkeitsfluss mit Ultraschall.

Oral History Andreas Bechtolsheim & William Joy (1999)/Interview 1: Seite 8: Bechtolsheim: “Well the first year I did an experiment in chemistry, which wasn’t really my forte but was an easy thing to do and I wanted to get a hint of it. The second year I tried to build an electronic scale that actually worked quite well, but it didn’t get me to the final round. And the final time it was sort of a slightly computer-based method to measure fluid flow with ultrasonics in like a water pipe running by, and people thought that was pretty neat. In fact it was pretty neat.”
